My 02 TB just started running like it is choked even after it is warm. The SES light is on. I changed the spark plugs and cleaned the throttle body two weeks ago. No problem with it since the work, until now. If fact ,it has been running great. Is this a vacuum issue? Sensor? Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Could be lots of things. You need to take it somewhere to have the code read. That should answer your questions.

I am going in the morning to have the code read. Thanks, I figured that was probably the answer I would get.

FI vehicles do not have chokes. Only fast idle circuits...

I got a code for the fan running excessively fast over 1600 rpm for a predetermined amount of time. It appears as though the fan runs when it is not suppose to. I believe it may be the coolant temp. sensor going bad as the fan clutch seems ok with no looseness. Just my opinion from reading the Haynes manual.
The day I had it at the mechanic it stopped malfunctioning. The SES light was reset. I drove it some more and it has happened again. The fan seems to run constantly now.
Anyone have this problem?

Sucks is right! really robs your power. i was hoping it was the $20 sensor rather then the $150 plus clutch.

Thank you for the input.
