Well, Christmas didn't kill me to bad, so it's time to get toys for Earl the Beast ('07 TB SS). This is what I have so far:
Vector CAI, Vector Tune, Heat Soak Reduction Kit, Borla Catback Duals, KBee Coilovers, Helios 5000k HID (or better??), Hotchkis swaybar and bushings, rear wind deflector and lowering the bod just a tad. I keep hearing about e-fans, pulleys, torque converters, etc. My main thing is getting this thing to handle a hell of alot better than a pregnant Manatee, not racing. I live in the Blue Ridge Mnts and Earl gets squirrelly when punched. It's a loooong way down...
I know I must be missing something. Am I doing this right, wrong, half-@$$ed? Lemme know! Looking forward to it. Wanna start ordering next week.

I would say with the mods you already have that a new set of tires would be right up there on the priority list? Maybe some Toyo Proxes would really add to the handling. I love mine!

buy everything the SRT8 has underneath it if you want it to handle:D ... Good Luck.. you're going to sacrifice the ride quality big time if you stiffen it up more than you already have..

Sounds right to me, that thing is going to be stiff as a board ;)

Stiff from the KBee's? Hotchkis? Both? Aren't the KBees adjustable?

Yeah, why would it be "stiff as a board???" I don't think the slight drop will effect it too much, so why will the rear sway be such a big deal? I would like to do both those mods but after having a lowered Mustang on 20's (Imagine that ride :) ) I don't want to sacrifice much in this area.

Man, you aren't messing around with the mods. The handling will improve but boy are you gonna sacrifice the ride quality. These things already handle better than the average car anyway. Where you will see the most sacrifice I think is the coilovers. You are gonna give up what little suspension travel you have for what I guessing won't be significant gains unless you are really driving your truck at the limit. Personally I'm leaving my suspension alone, it is stiff enough for my tastes. What I lack in the corners I'll more than make up in the straights.....
