Exciting news. I just got off the phone with our supplier and they are likely going to run the first batch Tuesday/Wednesday of next week.

The fan kits are PLUG AND PLAY, no cutting or modifying required, factory ECM controlled, and can be commanded on with a scantool like Tech 2, Hptuners, EFIlive, Dashhawk

The kit will be made for LS1 F-Body fans which we have cars making well over 600rwhp with the stock fans and no heating problems even with the tiny F-Body radiator. You will be able to buy the fan harness with open ends in case you want to use your own fan.

The harness is made with weather pack OEM connectors so it looks stock and is built to last.

You will also have the option of getting the fans thru us, or at least the mounting brackets to fit the TBSS.

So in short here are the options you will have

1. Single Speed/ Dual speed
2. Open ends/ LS1 fan ends
3. You supply Fans/ We supply fans
4. Attaching hardware/ None.

As soon as the production harnesses come back next week I'll snap a few pictures.

We are installing the first production (non-prototype, aka assembled by manufacturer) right now. I'm taking my time as I'm trying to write instructions as I'm doing it.

Look for pictures, price, and ordering info by the end of the day. I promise :)

Is it Safe to say that the fans will not work until you program the ECM?

Im also confused, can we enable it or does your tune enable it?

Our tune enables it. You or your tuner are welcome to take a shot at it, but we spent quite a bit of time researching and developing this, so we will not be including tuning instructions. We will however be glad to do the tune for you.

OK, can you add the tune to an already tuned ECM?

No disrespect to you guys, but after spending $750 on EFI V2 and not having the ability to do it ourself is starting to get out of control.
This means i'll have to pay for your "fan trick tune" just to get this harness to work and then i can have control of it. I guess i'll just have to go a different route.

Edit

I've worked long and hard for a patch that works on both 06 and 07's and have one of the better reputations on this board for customer service... SO don't get upset wtih me when I won't tell you how to do the patch out right. If you have watched how I handle my customers you would know that whatever path we decide to take it will be fair for you and me. You will also know what it will be at a fair price.

Sorry but tuning is not a hobby for us, it is our career. If we gave away our years of hard work and knowledge for free then we would be out of a job.

For instance while I am a mechanically inclined person, I know nothing about fixing the hvac system in my house. When it broke a few years ago I paid some guy $200 to come and fix a $2 part. That's his livelyhood though, I don't expect him to tell me what is wrong and how to fix it for free.

Surely you understand when I put it that way. Alvin put a lot of hours into this and you can't expect him to give it away...after all, the price of the harness barely covers the cost of parts and assembly, not to mention the r&d. If you have EFIlive then I assume you know how to use it, there's nothing stopping you from figuring it out on your own. Otherwise this is an opportunity for those who were planning on getting our tune anyway to capitalize on another fun mod in the meantime. I think the fans make a big difference in how it feels.

If you need to go a different route to accomplish this then that is fine, but please do not imply that we are the bad guys here because we don't give out tuning secrets for free....especially considering how affordable our tuning and products truly are.

Sorry, I'm somewhat new to all this moddin' and am curious as to what this addition will do (more power, save gas, etc??). I own a 2006 Envoy, what improvements can I expect and is it very noticable. Thanks!

PCM for less, Just curious as to the price for the fan kit. Did not see it and I know it was said that it would be posted yesterday. Also, it was also asked what happens if your already have a custom tune from someone else? Can that ecm be modified with the fan patch or do you lose that custom tune? Do you offer some discount if someone does have a custom tune and then you have to flash that ecm to put your tune on it? Thanks for the help.

This is for the 5.3L and 6.0L, it helps with performance and gas mileage.
