View Full Version : case relearn, no engine lights??

i know this may sound a little funny but everywhere on here i've read about the "case" relearn they say not to mention you have a tuned pcm, tell em' you replaced your crankshaft sensor or something, that seems all fine and dandy execpt for the fact that after you have done so, wouldn't one of the engine lights come on?? My problem is I installed my tuned pcm and there are no lights dash lights on, so basically if a mechanic looked at it after what i told them, wouldn't they think something is up??
PS I can't find a shop around here to do it, so i am taking it to the dealer

The code is still active. If your man hooks up to it with a scan tool he should see the code.
Regardless just tell him you replaced the crank posistion sensor and no matter what you want a case relearn done.
