I'm in Chesapeake, VA...is there anyone on here anywhere near me? I might be heading down to Carolina tomorrow, if not later this month. I used to go to the Outer Banks all the time, but it's been so long, and I've only had the TB on the sand down there once. Maybe we could form up some sort of a meet or something down there.

Yes there are several of us on here from Hampton Roads. I'm right across the river in Hampton and I work in Norfolk.

Where in Hampton are you?:undecided Do you live in the Fox Hill/Buckroe area? If so, I have seen your TBSS, but I am always in my GMC truck when I see it. It's usually a young lady driving it.

Cool, it's nice to see people in this neck of the woods on here...I see so many who live out west, and a few up north. I see so many Trailvoys down here, I figured some have had to have discovered this site, which totally rocks by the way

During the warmer months, there is a "car show" at the Bass Pro Shop/Outdoor World every Saturday from 6-10 PM.:grouphug: You see everything from 32 Coupes to Mini Coopers to C6 Z06 Corvettes and everything in between. It's lot of fun. You meet tons of people and learn how others handle the mod bug.:D

sweet...I'll have to find my way out there sometime. Every now and then there's a few "meets" here, or in VA beach...but it usually gets broken up by cops, plus the cars suck too...little riced out honda's and whatnot.

Isabel tore my a$$ up. $188.000 in damages to the house and contents.
Thankful I had insurance. Recovered $140,000 of it back.
I was in the registry before under BLUBYU. Guess I need to go under SSUV2NV.

Works for me! I'll have the Vette up at Richmond Dragway on 2/24 for the Corvette Challenge and Corvettes at Waterside on 3/24, but not much else planned. I ordered the SLP duals for the TBSS last week. Can't wait to get it and get it installed! :D
We can always do Jenro's!

Sounds like we may have more people at the Bass Pro Shop car hangout. They are still heading up there if it is not really cold or bad weather. I might roll through on Saturday if anyone is game.

Rick I'm game but I think it's still a little too cold for a large crowd, but I'm still game. I like Bernie's idea too!. Wherever you guys want to meet.
Are any of you guys going to the VA Motorsports Park opening on March 3rd? There is also a Super Chevy Show in June:D

I work the next few weekends, but I'm game for a meet sometime. Sometime, I'll take mine up to the track just to see what it'll do after I get a pcm, with the CAI and exhaust I have now. We should get a few people to bring their TB's and Envoys up to the track in Richmond and make a decent showing.

I went to school in Fairfax...I didn't like it at first at all. After a couple semesters, you get used to all of it in the Northern VA, and MD area. It's so damn busy...and there's such a collection of culture, and language...not to mention the politics. There is a lot of plus though...there really is a lot at your finger tips up there. Down here everything is so spread out...which is good and bad.

unfortunately for me, I am more of an old country boy. I don't like the politics or the attitudes here. Baltimore may as well be called North D.C. Its just too crazy for me. This place is making really miss Chesapeake. I hated selling our house in River Walk. Not to mention my wife misses her favorite seafood restaurant....Rudy's.

I feel for ya man...like I said I hated it at first, and it's not that I started liking the politics and everything...I just got used to hating it. You used to like just down the road from me...I'm off of Cedar rd. I can't stand the amount of people up there who think the world is supposed to cater to them... or the other half that is too thick to understand anything. You'll do fine...it just takes time.

I asked the question because I was trying to identify the guy I was talking to. Turns out we had already met at one of the Bass Pro Shop gatherings last summer.
:duh: I thought Red Jewel Tintcoat was the slowest color:confused:
