New here. Search for "air" brings up too many results.
Has anyone here lowered their air leveling equipped GMT360 and retained the auto leveling function? If yes, what did you use. I'm looking for a 1 1/2" front 3" rear drop and more "spirited" ride and handling characteristics.
Thanks.

I lowered mine with Ground Force front springs and adjusted the rear load levelers to go lower. Also have the Hotchkis rear stabilizer bar. See my gallery for results.
I don't tow or have over one other person in truck, so can't tell you if it effects either.

When I had my Chevy Venture with the air leveling system, there was an arm on the axle that was hooked to a sensor on the underside of the van. The arm had a bolt in the center of it that was used to adjust how high you wanted the van to be when the air pump kicked in. I would assume that the TB have almost the same type of setup.

You mean Envoy, as the TBs dont have the rear air suspension as an option. That is probably one of the things I really want on my TB besides heated seats.

Thanks.
How do you adjust the rear load levelers lower?

I'd be very interested in hearing how to do this too. I've done the rear bar and bushings, now it's time to lower it a little!

Yeh how would you adjust it ? can you raise it ?
You can do either. I'll try to find a pic or two to help describe what I did to lower. Raising would probably be reverse of lowering, but will depend on how much the rubber air bag can stretch. Lowering just doesn't put as much air in the bag. Give me a day or so to locate photos.

Yeah, I had it first on my '03 and now it is on my '05. I feel it handles better in curves. Having my truck lowered also helps with the handling. If you don't like it you can always sell it and get some money back.
