Hi,

Several years ago one of the headlights went out. SO, I replaced both of them with Sylvania's and everything worked fine. The other day, my wife comes home and says one the headlights are out. Okay, show me. We went out and as she started the Trailblazer the other light went out. This is a 2002 Trailblazer LS model. Has anyone else experienced this?

How long ago is "several years"? If it is ~2yrs, then its normal and replace them. I had a regular halogen lamp go on me in about 2 years, then I switched to SilverStars (burnt out way to fast, never again), and now Im using HIDs.

Yep, I replaced the factory originals with Silverstars. It seemed a little strange that BOTH of them went out on the same day. I will go ahead and change them out. Thank you.

If they were made at the same time, installed at the same time, used the exact same amount of time, wouldn't you think they would burn out at the same time?:m2:

Only in a perfect world. :undecided Too bad madavis doesn't list his hometown, maybe we could all move there. Actually, Sylvania should be proud of their manufacturing consistency. it helps to only have to remove the front end once to do both.
