sweet Iowa people. im holding it down in Cedar Rapids. im always down for whatever.
in Cedar Rapids on the SW side there are always car shows at Advanced Auto every Thursday night. Thats the Advanced Auto on 16th Ave.

Car shows, or people just hangin'.
I went out two Sat's ago and there were people there, hanging out until the po-po came around.
Then, I followed to the SW side Blue Strawberry. Some good sounding cars. They liked the TBSS. But I left to check out some movies at Blockbuster, and got a speeding ticket.:(
Oh well, cop was cool and made it for way less than I was going. :woot:

Going to be heading out to Cedar Falls Raceway againt this Saturday, though it's for the "Midnight Mania". It's legal street-racing, basically, with either instant-green tree or for a few runs, a flag girl.
It starts at 9pm, gate opens at 8pm. Racing until 1am.:woot:

The locals have a car show every Thursday at Hudson classic grille out by the Sams club, but, same old bunch of hippie hot rodders. Don't get me wrong they have nice cars, camaros, 57 Chevy's and few pony's, but it's the same group every week. Never see any nice custom SUV's around here and especially nobody does the TB or Voy's justice.

Yeah, at the "car show" on Thursdays here in CR, it's always the same guys. Nice rides, but same-same=boring.
I'm probably not going to the Chicago meet...when is it?
