So far, the transition to vBulletin 3.5.x has been smooth. If anyone comes across any site errors, please let me know. I will look into it right away.
Things to report:
Broken Site Links (not links posted by other members in threads)
Database Errors
Forum problems/bugs etc. Please screen shot and make an image of the error OR copy and paste the error message. Also, please note the exact time and date.
Thanks,
jimmyjam

ok i think i figured it out, after i loaded the home page it redirected me to
http://www.trailvoy.com/profile.php
which is a bad link. went to the previous page and hit stop as quick as i could, then looked at the html, it said
<!-- auto DST correction code -->
<form action="profile.php" method="post" name="dstform">
something to do with daylight savings time? profile.php is on forums.trailvoy.com

Same thing happened to me a couple of minutes ago. I started with a link to tbecentral.com then when I got server not found I typed Trailvoy.com. Hope that helps.

Tommy, thanks for the reminder on DST. I've been on vacation so I barely even know what day of the week it is. I didn't even have a clue. :duh:

I noticed for the first time last evening or today that tbecentral.com does not work. I changed to trailvoy.com and no problems.

Yeah, took me a sec to figure that one out!
I'm using trailvoy.com and it goes to the 404 error EVERY time I log on to the site for the first time during an internet session. It gives me choices of pages to go to which includes the home page. Once I click on the home page I'm good until I close my browser and restart it.

Everyone should try deleting all cookies. Last night I put TBECentral.com on its own with a redirect to Trailvoy.com to resolve the login issues for people still coming to the site via tbecentral.com.
Also, with the DST change, clearing all cookies should help.
Let me know the results after you clear your cookies.
Thanks,

i think i was getting this problem on my laptop, and the timezone was set to central. perhaps make sure the timezone in your profile is the same as the one set on your pc?

Problem fixed. Thanks jimmyjam for posting that code. I had to add profile.php to the footer replacements for the cmps index page. vBulletin was trying redirect everyone to their profile to fix the DST settings.
Thanks for the reports.

I received an error when I tried to connect to the site....
Fatal error: Call to undefined function: print_portal_output() in /home/trailvoy/public_html/index.php on line 35
took me a few tries to get to the site, but it finally opened after the 6th try:duh:

The time you have to edit your post is 60 minutes. This was changed because members who did not like the responses that were getting, went back and edited/deleted all text in their initial post. Now the threads made no sense.
I bumped it up to 4 hours, so that should help. Hopefully if won't get abused again.

Is there any way you can disable this in the "For Sale" Section?
One may want to edit the description, drop the price, or notify people that the item is no longer available.

If you need to do any of the above or you can just post it in the thread that you have started what changes you want and it will be fixed.

If you need to do any of that , you should make a new post in that same thread advising members that there has been a change in status.
If you go back and edit a post you made weeks ago, that thread will not be bumped, and no one will really know it has changed, so you'll have to bump that thread anyway. Not to mention, like Tommy said, the thread may not make sense if poeple are going back and editing previous posts

i guess this isn't really a problem...but any thoughts about deleting closed threads? When someone is browsing through the forums(especially the for sale section) there are a lot of threads where an object has already been sold...
