How do you adjust the hand brake?:o
I was reading a 3rd party shop manual & it is saying it is self-adjusting? My hand brake won't hold the vehicle. I have check the pads & planty meat is on it.
Do we go backward push/pull the brake/hand brake? like how you adjust the drum brake.:duh:

A friend with an Envoy tried the handle adjust method and it did not work enough to take up the slack and hold the brake firm. So he ended up taking the rear calipers off and turned each park brake adjuster out one turn. The brake is now on full at about half pull of the handle. Mine has not needed adjustment yet.
