I have a 03 tb with 22s 265/40/22 nitto tires. O want to lower it but not sure how is done. I have looked at a few drop kits on line but dont know which one to go with. Some only post coils/springs others have a lot me pieces to them. Can I only replace the coils/springs? if i do a 1.3"front 2.0" rear drop. Has anybody had problems with tire rub? what do you recommended?

2003 trailblazer 22s, billet grill, billet bowtie, tint, shaved rear emblems, removed roofrack, one 12" fosgate P3 that pounds!!!

Welcome to the site! BTW, love the avatar. On of the better episodes.

As for lowering kits, there are many chose from if you have an SWB TB. If you have an EXT, then there are only about 2 kits. A lot of people here can help you better than I can, as my TB isnt lowered. The kits range from 1.25 front and rear (Eibach) to 2/4 (I think DJM?).

It depends on how low you want to go. With the lowering height you said you maybe fine with just springs. I did a 2/3 and had to swap out the bump stops and add new shocks in the rear. The 2 in the front I didnt do anything else but place the new spring in where the old one was. Did you check out any galleries yet? Check it out!

I have a 03 Envoy on 22s with the same size tire. Mine has teh 1.3/2 groundforce drop. No rubbing at all, even at full turn. Don't worry. It looks great too, check out my gallery.

The 2/4 DJM drop is nice... I have 9.5 inch wide rims with 285/35/22's. No rubbing when I turn, but it does rub on the rear door fender - i.e. the rims/tires do not tuck well in the back. The back rubs a little like it is almost going to tuck, but not enought for me to want to get anything changed. The 22's with this drop and tire looks mean. If you wanted to be a little safer you could go with the Belltech 3 inch rear drop.
