I opened the hatch the other day on my TB (which I bought two weeks ago). I hear a creek, then it wouldn't open all the way. I close it and look up and notice the panel at the top of the rear hatch popped out of place...now it won't go back! I heard this is common if you lift the hatch while the glass is open--I didn't make that bonehead move. I'm assuming the previous owner did, and the dealership was able to sneak it by me. I opened the hatch 5-10 times before it suddenly popped on me. Can I fix it/replace it on my own...the great people at Gamblin motors won't accomidate me, I think.

can you post a pic to see exactly where its damaged??

I have opened both at the same time numerous times and nothing like that has happened to me

How long a go did you buy it? Have you tried asking the dealer about fixing it?

I bought it April 3rd. I don't think its covered under the warranty I bought. You think they might fix it on goodwill, or something?

most dealerships give you 30 days if something goes wrong or gets screwed up.. (at least mine did)

It sounds like the sales mgr at the dealership is going to handle this one...What a guy, right! Thanks for all the replies. I love seeing a forum like this for a product I own. Looks like plenty of good resources here!:)
