talk to pedro !!!Don't have to, seen the little white wagon in action     First time I saw his TBSS leave the line at Redline Raceway my heart fell into my shoes, I looked over at my truck shaking my head saying "we've got a lotta work to do" :dielaugh: The problem with Pedro's TB is that he has a 3600 converter, has MAD launches and is a 1/8-mile monster, but has so much slippage on the top end that his 1/4-mile times aren't much faster than a stock TBSS; I'm sure he'll get the converter clutch lockup strategy right given time then woah lookout. I'll tell you what though Pedro has one of the meanest sickest sounding rigs, it's a little bit outlaw!

U won't see to many real fast TBSS's for a few years till the trial and error process goes through its phase. Then there will be quite a few handfuls of guys runnin around in 11 second trucks. I personally hope to be in the first handful......

answer would be Mike (SSuv2nv) I forget how it's spelled? he has gone mid 11's on spray.. I think he has me by a hundreth or so stock motor v motor, but Pedro's against Mflow's should be a nice run (street I would take Mflow's AWD v 2WD unless he runs DR's) but all shall be trumped once the TuneTimePerformance SS is up and running..should be close to the fastest one in the country IMO...

Isn't Andy and the guys at ADM building a beastly TBSS centered around a monster 427?

Chuck Mallet already built a SS 427 conversion that will smoke everything out there.
But isn't there a guy on here that has a twin turbo SS? I haven't seen the thread lately, but its wicked and has to be the fastest here.

Any video of the Chuck Mallet TBSS available? I do remember a twin turbo setup a few months back. I'll bet that is one wicked ride:eek:
The original question for the thread is; Who has the fastest TBSS on Trailvoy? Is Chuck Mallet a member?

I have been working on traction products to hold THE TORQUE !I am not sure how many have been doing the same.
Yes I will be out there as one of the,but probably not the!
I am in no hurry as you can tell from how long it took just to get built.
As far as that twin turbo,He will be very fast in the up coming months...Maybe sooner and maybe later!
And I have been a member for sometime now.

Andy you've probably been in it (Trailvoy) from the beginning. I can't wait to see video and dyno results from the 427SS.

I've been 11.40@120 on the bottle. My SS went 12.39@109 on motor. I know there are faster SS out there but they haven't had a chance at the track yet. I would have to say Tunetimes turbo SS or ADM'S 427 will be in the top.

I think that Matt will have one of the top three fastest TBSS's out there when all is said and done. When it's running I will give you guys the lowdown on what's in it... it aint 364cu is all I'm going to say for now... I am sure Andy's will be in that same category..twin turbo?? who knows, if the motor isn't stroked/built it aint going that fast..

Is there a time limit on being the fastest? What I mean is by a certain date? As we all know, there is always somebody faster just takes time.

Pretty soon we'll be needing to break it up into categories. You can't throw a 427 in with the 364s and vice versa even though the latter might be faster. There's all kinds of groups. The fastest is a very broad definition to me. I could care less who's the fastest. Whats important to me is who's the fastest and can still drive their ride to work M-F. Thats what I'm goin for, 11 second DD:woot:

You also can't compare times from different parts of the country. East coast guys (like me) who go to Denver, or Vegas for example will lose about about a second or more. Yes, you can correct for the DA but no one ever counts this in as the fastest truck wins, period. I've seen DA's of -1000 in Maryland and over -2500 in New Jersey. Not hardly fair times when compairing one on one with eveyone else, is it? One guys I know went from a 13.8 in Maryland to a 15.1 at Palmdale in Cal. Crappy air but no one cares as they only look at times when claiming the fastest.

Exactly, to do this properly there needs to be a few main categories like location and then subcategories for engine size. Turbos and s/c's can be included with N/A rides, but you could separate that out as well.

Our truck will be there , I'm sure Andys will also , The twin truck will be short lived unless they did internals ...The is also another on it's way to being completed ..Mflow's truck will hit 11's with a tweak or two ...

I would disagree about the location factor. Not the fact that times dont change but the fact that because I live in NJ, I should be in my own category. It sucks for those in vegas, but if you're that concerned you'll make a trip to a better track. We have Impala guys that travel to Europe to race. Sorry, but no seperation for location..... I'll still admit you got a faster vehicle if you're runnin mid 13s out in vegas, and Ill def give you credit for a 12 second vehicle out there. But till you do it..... The longer these are around, the more association's there'll be. There'll be big meets across the country eventually and we'll truly see who the fast guys are out there. Nothing better to settle a dispute than some heads up racing!:D These vehicles are still in the newborn stages. There's gonna be lots o' interesting stuff to watch in the upcoming years. I wouldn't even be concerned with who has the fastest one at this point, cause it aint gonna last very long.;)
