View Full Version : lowering coils any problems with the wheels butterflying?

:confused: I am in the market lowering springs. I was wondering if all I replace is the springs themselves if anybody has had problems with the wheels butterflying? I have trailblazer with 22's 265/40/22 on a 2wd regular tb not ext. thanks guys new to the site and appreciate all help.

by butterflying do you mean the camber being off? I have the 1.3/3 GF springs and mine is off ever so slightly but its negligible. no worries

How did you tell the camber? What did you measure or did you just eye it?

thanks. i am just worried about my tires wearing unevenly. cause 22" tires aint cheap

How did you tell the camber? What did you measure or did you just eye it?when I got an alignment done there was a printout from the alignment computer with the factory spec tolerences and what they adjusted it to. it was just a hair out of spec.
i dont see how yall dont have camber problems. I have horrendous problems in the front, it looks like an import.

i have bad camber in the front, which im using the eibach kit. Suppose to be 1.3 inch i beleive. Its extremely noticable and cause uneven wear on my tires.

This has also been my experience with the Ground Force springs. No real problems as far as alignment or tire wear.
