Northwest Meet information

Hey guys, I know there arent many participants for a possible meet, but I want to go ahead and get started planning one anyway.

First we need to figure out a central place for us to meet, then work on dates and time, etc. Im personally in Seattle, but I am willing to drive ~1.5-2hrs tops to meet up (negotiable, especially if its along I-90) to meet up with everyone.

Probably needs to be a Saturday or a Sunday, I would like to look at maybe the last 2 weekends in June or about the same in July, but August is a possibility as well.

Pretty much we need to start throwing dates out there when you guys can make it then I will try and find a weekend where we can meet up.

Hey guys, c'mon now I know we want to meet up, but Im not going to plan anything for sure until I know there are 6-10 people down for a meet in the NW. Most of us live far from each other, so a bit of driving will be involved and I dont want to have someone from like Idaho trek to Seattle only to find out after they arrive that the meet has been cancelled.

I will be in, and I know I've seen a couple of others from the Portland area lately. I don't mind driving up to Seattle or Tacoma or somewhere up that way. I agree we should have some sort of commitment from a group of people first though.

Unfortunately I will be leaving for Orlando and the Bahamas on the 9th of June for 10 days, so that will not work for me. What about Sunday the 24th or Sat/Sun June 30/July 1?

I know that is 4th of July weekend, but the 4th is a Wednesday...

I don't know the area up there as well as you guys do. I think we should see how many people will meet and see where everybody is from. If most of the people are from your guys area than we might as well do it closer to you guys.

Im not too sure about a location, I dont frequent the eastside or south seattle too much b/c I have no reason to go down there (and with gas at $3.49+/gal...).

I think Im just going to start a poll in a little bit, have to figure out where everyone is.

Hey I'd be in, depending on when it will be though. We're in Yakima, WA about 2 hrs from Seattle, and we love traveling that area, so any where in that area would be fine with me. Unfortunately because I'm just finding this thread.....I have plans for the weekend before the 4th through the 4th, so I'd be out for that time frame....but if it ends up being any other dates let me know.

I live in the Tacoma area and always have weekends off. I got a family thing going on the 30th of June and then I gotta move to Puyallup the 7th of July but other than that I am free and willing to travel. :)

Erik, do you think we're gonna be able to get anything together this summer? Sounds like there are a few people interested, maybe lets pick a date and see how many people can make it. If there's enough interest, we'll do it, if not then we can cancel.
