yes we had a good day, nice to meet all you guys. we ate pizza, saw a lot of burnouts and talked TVs all day. good meet. :thumbsup:

Wish I could have made it but I was in Gary for work and the VOY was in for warranty work. They had to replace a lot of stuff. HOepfully there will be another one. JIMMY

It was a great day at Speed Inc.'s "burnout extravaganza". Trailvoy was represented well with a great bunch of guys. :yes: Looking forward to the convoy run to Ohio. :thumbsup:

I'll get the pictures up tomorrow, along with that last SS member who's face is not by the truck just yet.
I'll put those "flex" pictures in the appropriate thread... who cares what that concrete block did to my resonator, it was in the way anyway.

Thanks guys for coming out!!! The weather, cops, and helpers really made this day work out. I'm glad everyone had a safe and fun day. It was beautiful!
Thats the engine bay of my GTO - I know... its fifthly! (I have issues)
The Camaro ran a 8.93 if I recall but that was with a 370ci motor and a mid-frame 88mm Turbo (single). That is a 408 with twin 71's or 76's (can't recall). Its now been mini-tubed and should go faster. However there will be a 427ci LSX based motor for it soon. The carb style intake on one of the motor stands with 2 sets of fuel rails is for that motor. The white cobra is another vehicle that used staged injection. Its really quite nice - there are 2 fuel systems. 93 octane and very drivable injectors run all the time, and when the duty cycle hits a certain threshold the second set of injectors kick in spraying leaded race fuel. This is nice because you do not foul out expensive widebands as fast and you don't have to throw money out the window cruising around on 110.
Oh - and the shop car (orange camaro) still has working heat, radio, and power steering. Don't be surprised if you see it parked at a cruise night or the Schaumburg Hooters.

don't feel bad about your door, you know that commercial were the cars go driving by themselves and come home when the sun comes up, I think thats what 95 ESi persons truck did, only it went to the desert before it came back home. J/K bro :laugh:

It was a good time guys, but all those burnouts gave me a jones for another Trans Am. I've got to get me another one soon. I miss her. Speed Inc definitely looks like they have a good following, and do good work.

...and getting a "muscle car":D ... I'm looking for a 85-87 Regal or Cutlass first, but a Firebird is my next option. Either way, it will not be stock. LS1 or LS2 powered:crazy: .

well i bought the truck off my company with the damage on the rear driver side door and panel... i gotta get my a$$ workign on that.... this weekend is supose to be great for it so looks i will be doing it this weekend hopefully...

There was one more TBSS there at the open house that didnt get into the pics. MY 07 Imperial blue one. Was to busy watchin the burnouts and forgot about the meet until I was leaving.. Maybe next time I wont forget lol:duh:

you don't know the half of it, we were there about 3 hours or more . there was a burn out about every 10 minutes. :weird: :crazy:
we did have a nice meet though. :cool:
