While driving today my temp gauge jumped from 210 to about 240, and my AC wouldn't get cold. So I drove up to the local auto parts store for the solution and it came up as the auxillary emission control .I believe that it's a complete system. Anyone else had this problem?:thx

As for your concern...:undecided don't know what they are talking about  How did they come up with that? Was the check engine light on?

Man I hear those babies are expensive!! They are right up near the flux capacitor somwhere.:dielaugh: Anyhoo. We need the PO--- code that came with that diagnosis. As far as the temp gauge thing, it could be the gauge, the thermostat or the fan clutch. All guesses BTW.

P01482; Condition for setting this DTC (diagnostic trouble code):
An improper voltage level has been detected on the cooling fan clutch control circuit.
Sounds like you've become victim of the failing cooling fan clutch  :hissy: :duh: But before replacing, make sure all of the wiring/connectors are OK
