View Full Version : Stock tires on aftermarket rims question

After much debate I've decided that I'm going to stick with 20's and lower my TBSS a little instead of going with 22's. My stock tires still have atleast 90% of the tread left so I figure I would wait to get new rubber. The question I have is will our stock tires fit on any width 20 or only a 20x8? I would like to get 20x8.5 or 20x9 if possible. Otherwise what tires should I replace them with? Thanks in advance

With a 255 tire you can go anywhere from a 20X7 - 20X9 wheel.

from what i was told they should mount up.... however, depending on the width you switch to they might look funny or buldge. seems like getting new tires is the way to go for many reasons.
