So, I'll probably be going to the OH meet on Sunday morning. According to Big Ed, a few other people will be as well. Who are ya and whens ya plan on leaving????

Big Ed will be leading a convoy from the Chicago area leaving Saturday morning sometime, but the exact time and meeting place has not been finalized yet. We're picking up a few along the way in Valparaiso Ind., and have hotel reservations near the meet for Saturday nite. You're welcome to join us if you like. :thumbsup:

Hi DJ, Looks like the time we will be meeting is around 9 am on Saturday... The place has not been decided yet but we are talking about meeting on a gas station oasis on 294 the Hinsdale oasis ..This oasis is after I-88 and before I-55...We would want too avoid the Dan Ryan since it's under construction... I am sure plans can change ,stay tuned ....:thumbsup: your leaving sunday I am not sure if anyone is driving that day to columbus in chicago, but pyroguy in Idiana is heading down sunday so PM him and see if you catch up with him ...

pyroguy, rossiSS and unreal4all will be rollin out sunday morning but pyroguy and rossiSS are in indy, so PM those guys to set up your meet spot. they are some very cool guys. I'm sure they would be cool with you rollin with them.

Indy might be a good spot to stop for lunch and have rossi join the convoy....
I may not leave for Cowtown until Sat; If thats the case, I will meet up w/ the Chicago crew @ the oasis Sat. am. Don't forget; Columbus time is 1 hour ahead of Chicago. :yes:

In other news, I'll have to see if I can track down the battery for my DV cam...maybe get another one. Somebody said something about video...

I see it like rich said we made a commitment to go to this meet. we all came up with a simple plan, and we will roll in to C-bus and set the town on fire chi-town style . J/K we are coming to enjoy ourselves whether its 20 members or 50 members. cause thats how we roll. :dielaugh:

Spider was behind Love machine ...Spider also gave love machine the handle Pig pen ....lol ...So in the Movie its was Rubber Duck then Love machine and then Spider... Those 3 started the convoy and then others joined in as they went thru arizona and new mexico...They started the convoy after they got into a fist fight with the cops....Only in the movies lol

rich, either you saw convoy recently or you've got a good memory, I haven't seen it in many years and don't remember the detail's. ;)

We got those Bear Detectors in the truck....Thanks for the heads up we will be watching for them ....The Bears can not stop our Chicago Convoy....Even Though we are all Chicago Bear fans ....lol

I am not washing my truck until we get into columbus, I figure we are going to pickup unwanted bugs on the front of our trucks and my truck is clean enough ... Once we get there then I will get her washed and get those bugs off of her ....

LOL and we'll be sure to take more than enough pictures. I'm also bringing the laptop so I can unload the memory card and start fresh when need be.

T-Mac isn't going to be able to make it. He had technical difficulties trying to get his truck back together, so right now it's not driveable :worried: Wild Rich said for me to be at the Hooters in Merriville around 9:30-10:00 to meet-up with you guys. That Hooters is at the intersection of Rte.30 & I-65. Can't wait to hit the road with you guys :woot: John.

Yea guys it's in. :D I was pushing real hard to have it ready by tomorrow. :nono: Probably too hard, but I wanted to go to Ohio so bad. :yes: Between the built trans, and the TCM tuned for the maggie to have higher line pressure, she let go. So I have park, reverse, and 5 neutrals.:duh: Should have waited and sent the TCM back to Magnuson to return line pressure to stock, but it felt fine on the test drive right up to the point it broke. Anyway, that's how much I was pushing. Had it towed 70 miles to the trans shop where she sits now. I'll get it fixed Monday, send the TCM out to have it flashed back to stock line pressure, and all will be good. I'll be a little wiser and a little poorer, but life goes on. :yes: Bummed I can't make it...

the trans lat go that fast!?!?!? Wow, that's either a compliment to Magnuson or a bash at GM or both. Congrats on the maggie. Is RPM still doing the trans build later on or the trans shop that has it now?

Hopefully T-Mac you can make it to some of our meets in Chicago in the summer ....I am packed and ready to get the convoy started some minor issues and then we are rolling....
