You guys who've actually got 'em, what do you think of 'em? Anyone got one broken in and gone WOT yet? How does it handle? How's the fit and finish? Let's hear the poop...

Love it, got 1200 miles on it already. I'm going to throw the accelerometer on it tonight and do a 0-60 run ;)

I just picked mine up this afternoon. I only have 70 miles on it so I cannot give any performance number right now although passing gear on the intersate you can tell there are 395 horses under the hood. But I can comment on the fit an finish which on mine is excellent. Very solid build, no rattles, of coarse it is still new. Very please so far.
Any suggestions on how the break in the LS2 engine properly.
Thanks,
John

Suppose the break in period in the TrailblazerSS is no different than the Vette. In the manual(know most people ignore) recommends varied driving for the first 500 miles and 60 mph max. Really a challenge!

I got mine back from the dealership today and it had a bad battery in it. They said that it had a dead cell. Other than that I really like it. were planning on taking a trip in it this weekend so I'll let you know what the gas milage is.

Fog lights jiggle. Quite annoying. Wish they would come up with a fix. Other than that, no complaints.

130 miles so far here. Absolutely no complaints. The only imperfection I've found was the driver's side B-Pillar trim (side-impact air bags) was popped out beyond the weather seals of the doors. Didn't take much to put it back in place.
We've had some rather foggy mornings here the past few days. I didn't notice any fog lamp jiggling at all.

I'd think GM could come up with a relatively simple fix for this little problem with a brace of some sort. When you take it in for service, I'd tell the dealer about the problem.

The dealer has arleady looked at it and determined that there is not yet a fix.

I've found duct tape to work wonders in these sorts of situations. I'm sure as more people have the same problem the dealer will be able to fix it.

Why don't Ohio State fans let their kids play in sand boxes?
Because cats keep covering them up.
Why do they throw out a sack of manure at Ohio State weddings?
To keep the flies off the bride.

Gotta keep this thread on topic.... Boy, can't wait 'till my SS shows up...
Q: How many University of Michigan fans does it take to screw in a light bulb?
A: One, but he gets 3 credits.
Q: Where was O.J. hiding right before the famous white Bronco chase?
A: On the University of Michigan campus. That's the last place you would find a football player.
Q: Did you hear about the University of Michigan fan who locked his keys in his car?
A: He couldn't get his family out.
Q: Why do University of Michigan fans keep their diplomas on their dashboards?
A: So they can park in handicap spaces.
Q: What do you call a good looking girl on the University of Michigan campus?
A: A visitor.
Q: What should you do if you find three University of Michigan fans buried up to their neck in cement?
A: Get more cement.
Ann Arbor News Report: Football practice in Ann Arbor was delayed on Monday for nearly two hours. One of the offensive players, while on his way to the locker room, happened to look down and notice a suspicious looking, unknown, white powdery substance on the practice field. The head coach, Lloyd Carr, immediately suspended practice while the FBI was called in to investigate. After a complete field analysis, the FBI determined that the white substance unknown to the players was the goal line. Practice was resumed when the FBI decided that the team would not be likely to encounter the substance again.
Q. What did the Michigan graduate say to the Ohio State graduate?
A. "Welcome to McDonald's. May I take your order, please?"
Did you hear about the Wolverine fan who was so upset that the Buckeyes beat Michigan that he tried to commit suicide by jumping out his basement window?
It was reported that Michigan head football coach Lloyd Carr will only be dressing twenty players for the Ohio State game. The rest of the players will have to get dressed by themselves.
Did you hear that the University of Michigan library burned to the ground? All five books in the library were destroyed. The football team was very upset because they hadn't colored in two of them yet.
Q: How do you get a Michigan grad off of your front porch?
A: Pay him for the pizza.
Q: What's the only sign of intelligent life in Ann Arbor?
A: Columbus: 187 Miles
Four college alumni were climbing a mountain one day: an Ohio State grad, a Michigan grad, a Penn State grad, and a Notre Dame grad. Each proclaimed to be the most loyal of all fans at their alma mater. As they climbed higher, they argued as to which one of them was the most loyal of all. They continued to argue all the way up the mountain, and finally as they reached the top, the Notre Dame grad hurled himself off the mountain, shouting "This is for the Fighting Irish!" as he fell to his doom. Not wanting to be out done, the Penn State grad threw himself off the mountain proclaiming, "This is for the Nittany Lions!" Seeing this the OSU grad walked over and shouted "This is for the Buckeyes!" and pushed the Wolverine off the side of the mountain.
Q: What does the average UM student get on his SAT?
A: Drool
A guy in a bar leans over to the guy next to him and says, "Wanna hear a Michigan joke?" The guy next to him replies, "Well before you tell that joke, you should know something. I'm 6' tall, 200 lbs., and I am a Michigan grad. The guy sitting next to me is 6 ' 2" tall, weighs 225, and he's a Michigan grad. The fella next to him is 6 ' 5" tall, weighs 250, and he's a Michigan grad. Now, you still wanna tell that joke?" The first guy says, "No, not if I'm gonna have to explain it three times.":duh:

You know.. your right!! Steering wheel jerk during an AWD launch is suprisingly mimimal, not like a syclone/typhoon launch where you are trying to keep it in the lane ;)
Please try to keep the threads on the original topic even if you started the topic. The Ohio vs Michigan topic deserves a thread of its own. (I don't care much for either team but I love a good football rivalary)

Well 489mi my console squeks , the rear bumper panel is broken or will not stay attached on drivers side and now I think I have a wheel bearing on the way out . I'm used to this from gm :D . I just had my 05 ecsbZ71 lemoned for bad brakes they could not fix after 8 trips to the dealer .
On a better note with trac and stability off wackit around a turn at about 20-25 and she'll step out alittle :D :D :D
Ride is frim but nice I like everything about the truck but the hood is heavy and has a proprod  for 40k+ ? and they left the nuts for the springs or pistons
Another reason I'm waiting until next summer... Maybe they'll work out some of these kinks as production continues.

Typical Lloyd Carr coached game. He always coaches to not loose instead of win, and this conservative approach has bit U of M in the ass time after time.

I think it is because of gm's cut backs on what they will replace, for instance cutting rotors that were warped and thinking they wouldn't warp again.:duh:
I understand they used to just put new ones on .
btw my steering shaft was replaced twice and the fan belt twice they wouldn't change the tensioner eventhough it squeled under full throttle 1-2 upshift .
And then the drivers seat stoped working the day I brought it in for my refund .
this is nothing new from GM............my SS Camaro had the rotors turned under warrenty at 1500km........only to rewarp later on..........they use garbage material for their rotors.

As for the game, I honestly don't think you guys would have scored if not for the turn overs and penalties. Our Defense really stepped it up when Bobby Carpenter had his leg broken, and what a game Troy Smith had!!

Speaking of radios, my Bose system in our '02 TB is noticably cleaner/better than the Bose system in the SS. Not that I'm saying Bose is a great system by any means, but there is a distinct difference between the two in terms of bass, crispness, and clarity.

Hmm... Good question, no idea. The '06 TB-SS's system still sounds very nice, but if I had to "rank" my factory systems in our vehicles, it'd be like this:
1) '02 TB - Bose
2) '06 TB - Bose
3) '02 FBody - Monsoon
