So are some of you guys running your 32" tires with only 2" of lift? And running your 33's with 2" suspension and 2" body?

These 37" MTRs fit, but it won't turn. :(

I run basically 33's (32.9) with only 2" Suspension Lift and 1.5 Inch Wheel adaptors
the tires are 285/70-17

I run 265/70/16 31.9 or 31"s

I have a BDS 2 Inch lift and wheel spacers (but you don't need them for that size, but as Roadie once said in a posting you don't know what that tire will flex to at highway speed)

I go wheelin, and this lift is NOT for show, i use it. I myself am saving for a set of kuhmo MT 265/75/16 which will fit WITH spacers and a lift/

My own goal is not to get a tire that i cant handle, sometimes the biggest tire is not the best thing if you really want to go offroad.. rausch creek the owner has i think this old ranger or bronco and it has like 33"s and she puts people to shame running 37"s +

I run stock tires now...that are actually mistakable for racing slicks, lol. I'm trying to scrap some money together for wheels/tires. I change my mind everyother day on what I want, but it's between a 33" Dune Grappler from Nitto, or their 32" Terra Grappler. The 33's run about 200 each, and the 32's run about 120 each on tires.com, so that's a big difference...and I'm sure I'd be happy with either. I just want something bigger/wider than stock...but mostly something with tread...it's pathetic, the other day I was on a little dirt/mud road, and I was doing 40 and stomped on it...and just spun all 4 tires. no bite at all. I've got the 2" BDS lift, and should clear the 32's fine, but 33's would rub some...especially going over some of the deep ruts they have on the beach.

Tires do make the rig. I have owned several sets of various size tires, and larger tires, if not to large, have always been superior. I guess it depends on the type of offroading you are doing. For dirt hill climbs 33's wouldn't be bad, but for rock's I think a 35" tire is the smallest you can go for the rough stuff.

Here is my truck at the 2006 TTORA Takeover at the Superlift ORV park. These 35's were to small to ride there. I then upgraded to 37" MTRs and now 37" BFG MTs.

33's would have been good here.
