My brother works for a subsidary of GMAC and has the ability to look up production sequences for vehicles. For example, my TBSS engine was scanned at the factory on 10/31/05 at 23:22 hours. Final item to be scanned was on 1/1/05 at 04:11 hours. It shows final production date of 11/1/05 nor sure of the time. He is going to print out the info for me. This is really cool info and will let you all know more once I have seen it.

WOW...that was fast shipping, if yours was built on the 1st and you picked it up yesterday. I hope mine gets shipped that fast!

Chris is there any way to tell what number of TBSS off the line mine is?

Without going through a ton of trouble, best I can do is ballpark it.

Well my SS was built last night after a week at event code 3400. After I got off the phone finding this out I went out to get the mail and in the mail box was a direct mail flyer from GM offering $1,000 off a Trailblazer....so the last 1/2 hour has been very exciting:eek:  :)

It is serialized and in the terms and conditions it states this is an invite only promotion. If you currently have a TB watch your mailbox one may show up.

Alternatively, if you did not receive anything in the mail, but already own a Chevy, call 800-505-6070 or 866-GM-OWNER and give them your name and address. They may have a certificate on file for you that didn't make it to you in the mail, for one reason or another.

If they do have one on file for you, what happens is that when you sit down to buy the vehicle, the dealership calls them and they fax to the dealer your coupon, and you get another $1K off.

I called to see if I had a voucher by chance and of course the answer was no. After trying to get qualified, the operator told me that he didn't know the criteria for selection and agreed with me that it could be just like a lottery of pulled names of current owners.

I just called. They told me these kinds of promotions were drawn at random.

But I did go ahead and tell her to flag my name and address as someone "considering" a Trailblazer SS and that an extra $1000 of coupon would really persuade me...
