Anyone else planning on heading down to watch the 500 (June 1-3)? I'll be heading down on the weekend, just don't have definite plans about camping, routes, etc. Would be cool to head down w/ some trailvoys or atleast meet up somewhere and watch. :D

Man, I don't know if I'll be able to make it down, how far is it? I thought you'd be running in it with your 33's!:eek:

:laugh: Nah, I'm not that crazy - or am I :p A racer would need much more travel in suspension (like atleast 10" or so), not too mention a roll cage :D But I've wanted to go see it live for years now, and it's just down the street, so to say.
With the recent jeepspeed classes entering SCORE & BITD, I 'may' end up getting an old XJ and start wrenchin on that for next year. Not the 1000 granted, but start w/ the 250/500 and some in-country races - looks like a h00t!
