I am off too so I'm washing the truck before I go to Baltimore. I started using Vinylex on the tires. If your like me and don't like that super shine that collects dirt and get all in the wheel wells, then this stuff is great. It gives the tires that deep black color brand new tire look.

They also make Lexol leather conditioner and cleaner. I use that on my seats. Great products. I only buy it in the spray bottles. I don't like wipes.

How does the Vinylex do as far as staying on? Some of the products I have used are thrown off onto the fender area behind the wheels.

From what I have seen on my truck, It doesn't get all over. Its stays on the tire. It gives the appearance of the tire soaking this stuff in to give it that deep black tire color. This stuff is super concentrated so just a little goes a long way.

I have the factory 17" sport aluminum wheels, and I got some of this stuff on them. I wiped it off with a dry terry cloth and said to myself "I think I'm on to something". It actually gave the wheels a nice clean shine without leaving any residue. I'm not suggesting that anyone clean their rims with it, but don't worry if you get a little on them. It won't ruin anything, and its not hard to get off. I use a small sponge to apply it. Then wipe the tire with a damp rag.

BTW, I put just a little bit on a rag and wipe all the door seals every other wash. It keeps them clean and fresh! :) Plus the company also suggests its use for that too. I do not use Vinylex or anything else on the interior. I find that a clean micro-fiber cloth works great. I hate shiny residue finishes. :)

I will have to get some of that stuff and give it a try before winter hits around here. Thanks for the info. Always looking at trying new products to make the TB look even better.

Kind of sucks for me. I was going to cut the gas but the lawn mower will not start. Decided to do a tune up and it still will not start. So now I get to take it to the shop and see what is wrong. The good thing is I have plenty of room to take it. I always hated having to clean out the trunk of my car just to take the lawn mower to have the blade sharpened. Yes I will be throwing a blanket down so that I will not mess up the carpet.

Since I can't cut the grass I am going to clean up the home office. computer parts are everywhere.

And yes I am off today. Yeah for summer, no school to work at. Boo for having to work second job to pay for bills during the summer.

Today I was chillin in the tb on my lunch break, listening to some soundgarden, and fell asleep:sleepy::duh::nono: Luckily a co-worker came back from lunch, parked next to me, and chirpped the horn (locked doors w/ remote).

I've done that a few times too. Being that I work too far away from my house, I spend my lunches in my TB. I never realized how short an hour could be, lol.

I installed my newly tuned pcm this morning, then went to work and fired a guy. Besides that, it was a good day. Shall see how the next few days are since I'm off.
