guys and gals post your suggestions on when is the most convenient time, place and date for you to attend a meet.

for me, i think it should be in 2-3 weeks so that we can prepare ourselves (off from work or calling in sick :D)

and we can prepare our TB/envoys too.(mods...):D

Hey South Florida people lets get together and have a few meets here so that we can plan a statewide orlando meet for later in the summer. Im sure we can get at least 15+ to show up for something in late july early august maybe, we will have a specific date set up in advance so that everyone can make arrangements and we can have a place already set aside for the meet and know exactly who is going to bring what so that we can have a successful meet. Would have to be on a saturday eve or something, i'm in west palm beach and would need some time to drive to the meet..I know there are lots of car shows around the state. i visit a couple of them on occasion in my 68 firebird..A meet at some place where there are other cars would be great..Let us know when someone decides...The only week not good is the week of july 4th for me i will be driving to Dallas TX to visit family and to visit Andy at ADM performance to put a cam and springs in my TBSS.. Hope we can come up with something....

The last time we met it was in the Taco Bell parking lot. I imagine that's where we'll meet again, unless someone has another idea in mind. I don't suggest parking inside the car show area, unless your ride has a fair amount of mods.

Well I was there.. ended up doing my same routine from way back when...The only TB I saw was the white one with the insane PVC port pipes from his box... I parked near the show area. I ended up on Okeechobee at the Sonoco in pines. But tonight seemed to be full of hoodies in beat up stock Honda's no Skylines tonight!!!! Maybe next time.. Didn't get the info in time to meet at Taco Bell. But at least I got to see my old friend with his completed Mazda B2000 with a 1JZ turbo swap.. That was at least fun!

Yeah that was Mr. Boost, his SS, and me with my 02LS. We saw you and contemplated inviting you over but you had started to leave. It was just us that night, TB305 and swooshdogg didn't make it, but next time we hope to get some more.

i agree with you man. i think one of the problem here is that the meet is always at night. some members get off from work a little late while some have to work early in the morning. :yes:

i suggested a meet earlier (maybe lunch or afternoon) before but it hasnt been finalized yet. :undecided

I'm moving back to Gainesville on August 13th, I'd definitely love to get to another meet of some sort before I leave. Unfortunately, money is short now because I have all kinds of costs awaiting me in Gville, so any kind of big BBQ-type meet would be hard to plan in this short amount of time and such.

I'm off this Saturday afternoon if anyone wants to quickly put something together somewhere.

Well tonight started off on the right foot. Met up with Rob, that was cool. Lost touch with Trailtow and didn't get contact with some others so it was just Rob and I for about 15-20 mins.

Then I hopped on the wrong foot.

At Towers, I parked under a tree where dozens of birds chose to lead a fecal assault on my baby. So I left the shops, headed to my local car wash and began given her a good cleaning. Well, half way through, I ran out of quarters, had to drive to the corner store with suds all over to get some cash. Went back to car wash, restarted the entire wash. All is fine now... I was even careful around the edge where I have peeling paint on my recently bumped rear bumper. Well, not careful enough as I was trying to spot dry where the paint is, the chamois I used snagged a corner of the paint and snapped a piece of the paint off leaving a noticeable contrast between bumper color and my pewter. :sadcry::hissy:

Any SoFla guys have any idea what it would cost to have the bumper paint touched up professionally? I'd say the area would be less than .4 sqft.

Grrr, well it's only 11 and the night is young, maybe it will get better.
