Will this 2007 vehicle model year see a substantial makeover? Interior and exterior?
The EXT. version will be eliminated? Thanks
2007 is a model chaneover year for the TB so it will be different. There have been rumors that the EXT will be gone and the SWB will be lengthened a little in allow the incorporation of a 3rd row of seating. This is just rumors though.

As of right now the documentation is that there will be both exterior and interior changes... these were to occur for the 2008 model but they brought it down a year. There were some spy pics around but unconfirmed
yes, and supposedly they want to add the third row seat to compete with the Explorer, and they may do away with the EXT

I hope they don't change the styling too much. I really like how the exterior looks, just fine tune it like they did with the GMT-900's.
The interior :o   , needs major help! Can't wait to see the redesign!

I think the EXT looks bloated
It's still nice, but the one other thing I don't like is how the rear doors are cut -- I think they're cut awkwardly

I really dont think they should just lengthen the trailblazer to include a 3rd row. I think my TB is the perfect size...not too big, not too small and I wouldnt want to be driving a vehicle with a 3rd row. My parents wanted me to get an explorer before i got my tb and one reason i didnt want it is b/c of the 3rd row. It might sound stupid but that turns it into a soccer mom vehicle.
As for the Ext's they are still a good looking vehicle but I wouldnt want one.

The EXT is gone. The Oklahoma City plant is closing soon. The EXT may not make it until 2008.
On the 2007 models, here are some improvements I'd like to see at the same price as the current trailblazer sells:
-better fuel effeciency
-6 speed automatic and manual options
-higher ground clearance, especially between the front wheels.
-raise the front end, or design a bumper that doesnt take away from approach angle
-raise the muffler so I can't see the entire thing
-better interior quality, with a more attractive woodgrain/aluminum trim
-higher stance, with wider tires
-vastly improved reliability and durability
-skidplates that ARE NOT MADE OF PLASTIC!
perhaps: suspension options like the colorado has...low for the cruisers, high for the mud monkeys like me. How about an IRS like the Pathfinder.
I'd like to see the off road capability of the Xterra, but in a more understated package with a good, smooth ride like the current model. Off road ability is the only area where the trailblazer's capability is very lacking.
Things they should not change:
-turning radius...the best part about driving a Trailblazer in a crowed city
-smooth ride
-smooth, powerful engine (they call it the breeze!)
-G80 locking rear end
-side airbags standard (at least in 2002)
-turning radius
-integrated trailer hitch
-turning radius
OK, I really love this SUV b/c of how easy it is to park. Please don't ruin that by making it as big and as expensive as a tahoe.

I would like to see Chevy be done with the 4 speed auto, the car should come stock with 4.10 rear end but still have a the 6th gear to keep the RPMS low on the freeway.. A stiffer suspention would be nice too.. I like the inside on the current TB but it could be nicer..

To each his own..... I personally don't like how the doors are cut on the standard length ones. Makes it too hard to get your feet in and out of that little space.
As far as discontinuing the EXT, I think that would be a mistake. I wouldn't one one any shorter than our EXT. With the 3rd row, there just isn't enough space for hauling "stuff" if you need all 3 rows. I personally would like to see it stretched out about another foot so that you could actually put stuff behind the back seat.
So far I have 2 things I would change on the TB. One would be the "brights" on the headlights. I don't like pushing them away from you to turn them on, I like in my Silverado (and all of my other GM trucks I've had) how you pull them back. Second thing would be to shrink the radio/HVAC area to allow more leg room for the front seat passengers. But certainly not shorter.
