I picked up my 07SS from the dealer a few weeks back. Onstar sent me my first diagnostic report and the tire pressure on all four tires was 42psi. It seemed a little high so I checked the door and it reads 32 psi recommended. Did the guys at the dealer make a mistake? I know it rode like it was on rails until I let out 10 pounds, but what is best for the life of the tires?

If you do a search on this subject you will find a lot of discussion on this subject.
As I have had my SS for a month, & lisening to the members on this site, it was agreed that 35 psi was the way to go.

I run 35 psi in mine. I have over 30k on the clock and have about 50% tread left. The ride is nice. I do rotate mine every oil change too.

Mine normally dont go over 40. When they are shipped the bump the pressures up pretty high. Most techs during the PDI service, dont check them if they dont look flat.

Thanks for the help. I am going to keep them at 35psi and see what happens.
