Hello,

I was at a local tire place over the weekend, and they had a nice set of 20" wheels for a Trailvoy available at a good deal. The guy who ordered them backed out, so they discounted them to move them.

I asked if larger tires would affect my gages. They said yes, and they couldn't fix it.

Is this really the case? I want to know my speedometer is accurate and my odometer is correct after the change in wheel size. Is this possible?

I'm not going to buy from this store, but I just want to know for future consideration.

your ECM/PCM just needs to be adjusted. dealer can do it or anyone with a tech-2 scanner for that matter.

Check out this link to see what changes are made when you use different size tires.

I had some tires that made the speedo 3% off (slow) I did not feel the need to have an update. :m2:

If the new tires are the same diameter, there shouldn't be a need to do anything as well.
