I wouldn't do it unless it's a touchless car wash. The paint WILL get scratched. I learned my lesson with my black 02 TB LTZ.

The weels are fine in a car wash...I've had mine through a few times already.
Depends on the car wash, many of the newer or renovated sites have lined the guide tracks with thick nylon and are perfectly safe. If they're an older facility, check the guide rails before running it through to be sure they've been updated.
The old steel rail/roller system might scrape up the rims if your tires don't sit out far enough. (Note: Many lower profile tires now have a rim protector build in to prevent damage.....my Hankooks do and stick out quite a bit more than rims).
