Hey guys I noticed this the first night I drove mine. I'm a service writer for a Gm dealer and a tech found the perfect fix. He has submitted his idea to Gm so maybe they will have the fix soon. We used the brackets that come in any standard GM horn kit. You will have to use two kits.Connect the two brass looking brackets with a nut and bolt. If you look under your bumper there are two holes in the bottom of the cover.About 4 inches in there is a hole that you can connect your "bracket" to. You will have to bend the one end of the bracket at about a 40-45 degree angle to make work. Works perfect and I know this sounds tough but it really only took about 5 minutes. If I have a chance I'll take some pictures. The best part is we used GM parts and it almost seems like they made it to be secured and did not finish it.

I noticed it the first night too!
Your fix sounds promising but why the hell on a $30K+ car is this an issue. I shouldn't have to make a friggin jerry-rigged bracket on a brand new car.
AND, can you believe the put the wrong door handle on my right rear door?!?! It is the cheap base-model black not painted black like the other 3. I bought the car at night and didnt notice it. What f-ing morons do they have working in those plants. No wonder GM is going out of business and thank god I got the extended warranty...
