TrailVoy 2008 Euro meet (?)

So who's in, we have a year to plan this. Obviously summer months like August would be the best option.

I say the location could be Germany, since it's easily accessible from Nordic, Benelux, France, NL, Switzerland and Baltics (don't know if we have members from anywhere else in Europe).

We'd need a nice location for the meet as well.

I can seriously consider it if there's enough people coming in.

But I know it's gonna cost me an arm and a leg to drive there with these cas prices... =)

so it would be ~3200km drive... which would equal to about 635 Euros in gas alone, then I'd need the ferry tickets and the hotels... :o

635 Euros is pretty much... there is a ferry between Rostock an Trelleborg which cost about 100 - 150 Euro so it is not necessarily to drive over denmark. That would be an interesting trip. ;)

yeah, I will look for all the options if we can make this happen.

I'd imagine the program would be something like

- meet & greet
- photos :D
- cruising/tour (?)
- dinner (and some German beer :D)

For this a hotel/motel/Gasthaus with a nice restaurant, a big parking lot and some rooms for staying the night would be good.

Karo, do you have any ideas for this kind of location? It doesn't need to be in Berlin, actually closer to the ports would be better for me at least... :D
