Well, yesterday my trans. got so bad I'm gonna throw in the towel and get a new one. It's going to the dealer this week. Yes I know the dealer can get expensive. But they are giving me a break since I bought the TB as a certified used vehicle and has been in for tranny issues a few time already. New tranny comes w/ a 3year 100,000 mile warranty.

Is it a good idea to replace the torque converter while I'm at it? What does a new torque converter cost?

Vigalante seems to be the choice among the SS guys

I don't think those converters will work on an 02 I6

Well the trans has been in for a few days now. I'm just glad I can drive my TB again. And no more slipping.
