i am planning at trip to the track in the spring after my tbss is broke in. i have been to the track before and did well but that was with a fwd compact. i have never drag raced an awd vehicle so i was wondering what the you "PROS":woot: have found to be the best method of doing a 1/4 mile.
gear selection, launch, tire pressure........
thanks

I leave it in 3 and you can preload it to 1000 or whatever it made no difference to me. Left my tires at 35 psi. Haven't been back since my trans build/converter & headers but my AWD ran 13.72 tune only in some nice cool weather. Forget about drag racing these when its hot you'll just be pissed. You'll have fun no matter what

Why wait 'till spring? Late October is the best time to go in the midwest.

Where abouts in ILL do you live? I'm thinking of heading to Byron Dragway Saturday for a few runs to compare mods I've made. We're going to get a group together before winter so keep an eye out for details.
