How hard would it be to add the optional factory fog lamps to a vehicle that didnt come with them?

I don't think it comes down to being a "busy board" or not, as much as nobody knowing the answer for sure.

Agreed...try callin a dealer, im sure you will get an answer and quicker response than waiting on the internet for one

Suggestion from myself would be to get some aftermarket fogs like PIAA's or something along those lines. Better lights, easy install and probably look cooler...plus I'd like to see how it comes out as I was originally going to do that

Anyways welcome...keep on postin, its a young forum will get busier in time.
If you post, they will come

I checked with the dealer parts dept. and they said, I needed the fog light wiring harness. But they didn't offer a part # for that harness. Only the complete factory harness replacement. Thay did have a fog light harness for the Silverado/Sierra trucks. Checked with the service manager and he stated it wouldn't work on a TrailBlazer.
Found the fog lights on RockAuto.com & PartsTrain.com but NO harness.
If anybody as info POST IT

Thanks for the input.
The reason I asked here first is because I would like to make it look like a factory install. I have added lights to vehicles before. My truck (this is wifes) has a PIAA airdam with 150 watt KC lights in it.

A lot of times the factory wiring harness is already installed becuase it is easier to make one harness for all models, they just dont mount the lights or the switch. Thats why I was asking, to see if anyone has info about the harness or how hard it would be.

Guess I need to climb under one with lights and see where the harness goes and then see if I have one there.

Well for that you may end up pulling out the wheel well linings; I ended up cutting holes in mine to have easier access to the bulbs for change-out. I'm sure you could make the factory switch work with just about any OEM or non-OEM lights, the question is how easily they can be added, and if the grates in your fascia can be removed easily or not.
