Hello Trailvoy-I'm a longtime "lurker" and this is my first post. Got an 03 trailblazer LS...flawless performer with about 70k miles. but my SES light shows up weekly-just come on while driving and a day or so later it will go out. It has done this since i got the truck(bought it w/about 25k on the odometer). Are the SES lights just "happy" on our trucks? I have a hard time believing i have a problem with the motor-it hasnt EVER made a funny noise, or hesitate, or anything.

Welcome to the site. You can buy a codereader at Walmart for $68 or have someone at Auto Zone pull your codes for free. I chose to buy one to keep from having to goto AZ (not Arizona :) ) everytime I get a light on any car.
Besides you have to sweet talk the AZ folks to let you clear the light because it against the law for them to do it.

My SES light used to come on at least once a week over the summer...never got any codes from the diagnostics though. It seems since it got cold out the light hasn't been back on.
