I leased mine. Any less expensive decent ways to improve power and maybe fuel economy on the 5300?

Get a K&N air filter for it. It seems to flow better than the paper ones. Also switch to synthetic oil. It makes everything move a little easier.

Increase the tire pressure 1 or 2 psi within the tires limits. Use cruise control when you can. Lose excess weight. Stay out of the throttle ;) .
