I'm sorry if this was covered, but I didn't really want to sit through a couple of hours of reading past CAI posts.

Anyway, since installing a Volant CAI into my '05 TB I've noticed that my idle is higher by about 200 rpms and that it's rougher. Has anyone else experienced this? I'm really not looking to blow $100 on a tune up before I see 6 months with this car.

Did all the vacuum lines get reconnected when you installed the intake? - This sounds like you may have a vacum leak.

If you can't find it, get a can of 2+2 (carb cleaner) and squirt around the lines and intake with the engine running. When you hit the leak, you'll hear the idle speed change and you've found it.

Update: One other thought, make sure you reconnected the IAT (Intake Air Temp) sensor when you installed the intake....its the thermister that plugged into the stock intake tube near the bend. Without an accurate reading for intake air temperature, the calculated air mass will be incorrect resulting in the wrong air/fuel ratio being used. (Might cause a high or rough idle).
