I have heard this but not from reliable sources. Will there be an '09 TBSS? or is '08 it.

From what I am reading here, the Trailblazer will end its run in 2010. That includes the SS.

Rumor is that the 09 TBSS will get the LS3 as the LS2 will officially be phased out for 09 vehicles

Hadn't heard that one. I was under the same impression as most, half a year run w/ '08 being it.

I doubt they'll change the motor to the LS3. Keep dreaming.

The Trailblazer will end its run in 2010, the SS production end is not set yet and depends on the number of LS2s left. I can pretty much bet the house that they will not be putting an LS3 in the TBSS though.

Yeah, and GM will also track down all people who own one of the current TB SS and give them an LS7 for free for their TB. :dielaugh:

That would be the ultimate TBSS though. Could you imagine what a beast that would be. I would put my money down today for 1.:D

Not that it means much, but one of the dealers that I was working for a good price on my TBSS said that '08 was the last year of the TBSS's.
Maybe they just told me that to try and get my business, IDK.
Either way I got the one I wanted, now I want that LS256789! (yea right........:crazy:........)

If they put the LS3 in the SS then they would have to upgrade the tranny. Which is what they should have done anyway.

The dealer told me the same when I bought my '99 S10 Xtreme. "This is the LAST YEAR and this will be collectible!" HAH!
I don't see much difference between a dealer and an armed robber except the bandit has a gun and ...... he's telling the truth!

I'm a vendor for several dealrships in town (Houston), 99.9% of all sales
people and managers are snakes and often make things up to try and
get the sale.
Doesn't mean the salesman I worked with made this up or not. Chances are,
he did but I did not buy the TBSS he had, I had another one setup with
better options and price, so anything he told me wasn't a concern.
I wanted an '08 with certain options, and I found it somewhere else.
Point is, you can't trust Dealership sales people or managers, anything they
say is suspect, "How do you know if their lying? Their lips are moving!" :no:
