dude search the existing threads, people always ask this question.
the 30 series cost a lot more, and you're more likely to bend your rim up.
unless you have your trailvoy bagged or extremely low, the 30 series will look dumb because you'll be showing too much wheel well.
i'd go with the 265/40/22. it fills up the gap (showing wheelwell) better.
had the 265/35/22 this past summer, the ride isnt too bad.

agreed, I'd go with the 40 series as well. Thats what I have on my Envoy dropped and it rides good and looks good since the wheel well gap is pretty much filled. Rubber bands look retarded unless theres no gap

If you are going with a 30 series tires, you better buy a surplus of extra rims. I have a 40 series and they work great. In addition the wheel gap will look horrible. If you with a 30 you will need to drop it somewhere around 3 or 4 in the front and 6 in the rear. I don't know exactly but it will be extreme and for a car that will be driven daily, it may not be worth it. But what ever you end up doing take great pics!! Good luck!:D

I wouldn't suggest pirelli's. All your paying for is that little scorpion logo, they're not worth it. Whenever your vehicle sits for an extended period of time, pirelli rubber will stay in that position and it will vibrate right away the next time you drive. You have to warm the tires up a bit before that goes away. If you just want a low pro tire, i'd suggest 285/35. That would give you a slightly bigger sidewall then the tires you listed and it would be wider. The profiles you listed are a little too low and you have a high chance of damage to your tires and rims. I have 285/35/22 Nitto tires and I haven't had a single problem. You can check out my pics in the gallery to see if my sidewall is low enough for you.

I'm on the bandwagon with the rest of the guys that recommend 40 series. :m2:

i would go 40s as well. check out my gallery. mine are 265/40/22 and my tb isnt dropped. my friend as 30s on a 2004 cadillac deville. it looks mean  but it rides pretty ruff for being a caddy. just a few months ago he hit a pot hole on a side street blow out the tire and had to replace the tire and the lexani 22" rim. man was it an expensive bump.

I would guess that 285s are the widest. That's the widest I can remember seeing anyway. :m2:
