i am planning on painting my door handles, bottom plastic molding, my chrome grille across the front, and i wanted to know if anyone and if it is possible to pop off the rear plastic pieces on the rear bumper and get them painted. i also have a few questions with some mods i plan to do.
1) anyone else ever order the Katzskin leather kit for the trailblazer and how did it come out? i want a tight-fitting leather kit 2-toned and wanted some feedback.
2) where can i buy a wiper cowl for the trailblazer at?
3) i know you can remove the luggage bars on the top and the plastic molding on the doors, but i have read that some people remove it only to find scruff marks and scraps. how did you guys who removed the molding etc come out? think i should do it because my molding is already painting. i am leary of this one because why fix something that isnt broke.

Hey-
I know you posted awhile ago, but do you have any updates? What did you end up doing? I'm thinking about painting the plastic on the bottom of the doors, and the plastic on the bottom of the front and rear bumpers. Did you end up doing that, and how did it turn out? How did you remove those plastic parts?

I painted those step pads black to match my truck, but left the center portion gray... a little different from what most people do I think. I was able to remove them, but putting them back on as well as they were orginally is a challenge.
I'll try to post a pic later today.
Too much gray plastic on these trucks.

I'm doing all of the outside black plastics this weekend or next. Instead of the color match, I'm hitting em with krylon fusion black. Yesss! no more fading.

Just a couple pictures showing how I painted the rear bumper step pads:

You can see how I had a hard time putting the step pads back on after removing them. Hopefully I can fix that sometime.

I'm trying to get my rocker panels off. I got them half off I just cant get the push pins out of the bottom. Any one know how to get them out? I thought about drilling them out. But then I would have to find new ones. I think I saw some at Auto Zone but they were 4 for 3.80 with tax that's a buck apiece. Any help would be appreciated.
