View Full Version : Smoked a 6.0 silverado last night

Guy kept pulling up to me reving his engine so after i convinced my wife who was with me to let me play we pulled up to a red light that heads out of town. There was NO traffic so i gave him the signal to go on green. when the cross traffic light went yellow i loaded up to 2500. he loaded as well but not sure how much. I blew the tires off the start, spinning into second, but was so far ahead i didnt figure i needed to pedal it. He caught up with me when i got out of it and he had the craziest look on his face, as if he had thoguht he was running an I6. lol TBSS are very rare in Ar. i have only seen 1 other and im always looking.

thats great i wish i had a ss tb just to get the power but the 4.2 6 is pretty good

Nice, congrats...I had the same kind of reaction after smoking a Passat Turbo. The kid asked me if my TBSS was supercharged...I said nope, LS2 Vette motor. His head sunk down and he drove away very slowly and turned off a couple lights down. lol
nice run w/tbss.I just ran a 2007 mustang GT from red light.He started to spin,Itook off like a bat out of hell.By the time he caught up i was 5 blocks away,and pulling hard he still did not pass me by the time we slowed down, ss has not let me down.very good slepper for jap cars.they dont know GM

smokin' mustangs is the best feeling ever...but the rice rockets are a close second...most Chevy guys here don't even bother they seem to know the power of the SS
