2007 Silverado AFM

Hey guys, I know its not a Trailvoy but I have a question about one of my other vehicles. Bought a 2007 Silverado 1500 in the summer and it came with the 5.3 and Active Fuel Management. It does not have the DIC like the one in the Bravada ( or the other trailvoys with it ) but it does have some features, it is suppose to indicate when the vehicle enters 4 cyl mode but I have NEVER seen it, if there anyway I can test out my fuel management, at this stage I don't even think it works!

If you did not get the DIC then you will not know when its in 8cyl or 4cyl mode.

Replace the OEM muffler with a Flowmaster 40. You will be able to hear the change. :crazy: On a more serious note, the guys over at www.fullsizechevy.com can help you.

The DIC that came in it does have the ability to show the message I believe, and thanks for the link! As for a new exhaust, only time will tell:undecided

My mistake, it has the DIC, just not the one that allows for customization like the others ( ie those in our trucks ).
