Ok I was just driving home and I was going through a turn and my ABS and my brake light came on for a sec or two just enough for me to notice and then went back off. What would cause this?????
thanks

Did you hit water or maybe something slick? I forgot how good your Voy looks on those wheels!

thanks... I don't think I went through any water. I washed the car earlier but I'm sure everything was dry by the time this happened. Do these lights come on when your brakes wear out???

i think it's one of those ghost in the machine things. I have a different light go off every other week, but only for a second. I've brought it to the dealer and they can;t find any problems. I would still check your fluids and your brakes to be safe.

I'll probably do that, I still need to take the wheels off one side anyway to rotate them.

How much does each wheel/tire combo weigh? I have heard that too much weight of a wheel/tire combo "might" set off the ABS code. I don't know if true or internet fiction though. :undecided Does it seem to take a lot longer to brake vs the OEM tires and wheels? You could always go to an Auto Zone and get them to see if any codes stored in truck's computer. In my area they do it for no charge.

They weigh ~80lbs each. I've never seen this happen before and I've had them on since July and I've put nearly 10k on them. I really don't notice a huge difference in braking with my 22s on compared to the stock wheels and tires.
As far as it holding codes I was under the impression that if the dummy light was off then the code was cleared... I've had my check engine light come on twice and then go off. I had it checked once when it was on but it was for the engine coolant temp sensor. The second time it went back off before I had it checked. I've almost concluded that it came on from crappy gas, but I'm not totally sure...
