Depends. Is it a 2.5 or 3.0 or 3.0si? Is it a 6-speed? Does he/she know how to shift if it is? An automatic 3.0 will do 60 in 8 seconds and the 1/4 mile in about 16 seconds. So, I'd be very careful to check and see exactly which X3 you're up against.

I think its a 2.5 auto. I have heard that the tb 0 to 60 is about 7. something

Very high 7.something if you're real lucky. My personal best is 8.0 to 60 and 16.0 through the 1/4 mile. Mine is also a 2WD SWB with notalotta options, so it should be among the lightest and quickest of the non-SS TB family. Its performance should be right on par with the numbers that were reported for the 3.0 X3. Of course, those numbers were before my tune, so it may be a tenth or two quicker now.

do you have 3.73 or stock gears.

Sorry for the slow response, haven't been here in a while, work has been kinda crazy.
I have 3.42 gears, so I'd imagine a TB with 3.73s would be easily into the high 7's 0-60.

One day this past fall I was just driving minding my own business, and this punk kid in his mom's x3 kept hitting the red lights right next to me. He kept looking over and peeling off from every light. Finally I decided that it was time to see what would happen, and the Envoy smoked the x3. I have no idea what motor it had, but it was an automatic. I have a pcm4less tune, intake, resonator removed, and 3.42 rear end. Just thought I would share my x3 experience.

X3's are slow as hell. The only one to worry about are the big motor X5's

we're getting an X5 in the next couple weeks. my mom's infiniti qx56has been giving her a lot of problems and she's thinking about trading it in for an X5. the funny thing is that the qx56 is less than a year old and its been in the shop almost 8 times...

You'd best be letting your Mom know that anything else short of the 4.8is X5 with the Sport Package would be a waste of money ;)
X5's are nice, but I've smoked too many and stopped counting :D

If it has been in the shop that many times perhaps you could get Infiniti to buy it back thru the Lemon Law. Trading that vehicle is going to give her a pretty big loss.

that's the plan...its gonna be a hassle as it is though because the dealer is putting us at fault for some of the repairs.

Yet it's funny that when jap vehicle owners get surveyed, they all say how wonderful their ride is/was. No accounting for it.
