The host will be performing a server upgrade this Friday, May 13th, from
10:00PM to 12:00AM MST. As a result of this upgrade you should notice a
significant increase in overall server response. During this upgrade, the
server will be down for approximately 15-20 minutes.
This is in response to the numerous database link emails that I have been receiving.
Database error in vBulletin :
Link-ID == false, connect failed
mysql error:
mysql error number: 0
This happens when a user can't get a connection to the MySQL database to load a page. The databases themselves are fine as they are optimized and backed up weekly by me and daily by the host.
The site has been getting tons of traffic lately, 868,000 hits, 32,000 pages viewed, 8,600 unique visits last month.
