I'm just about to head out to Mr.Lube to get a regular oilchange but had a quick question on all differential fluids, I believe rear front and transfer case.

I have 1060000kms on my voy and none of these fluids have ever been changed. I know there are tales of after some many kms don't touch tranny but am wondering if same applies for these aswell. If ok to change is vac style flush and refill good enough?

I also got pan drop done on tranny at 92000kms and was wondering if I should get a vac style flush and refill done now?

Answers greatly appreciated in advance

For the front and rear differentials as well as the transfer case, all you need to do it drain and refill. You wont be able to get your transfer case done at Mr.Lube because it requires a very specific fluid that only GM sells. The differentials can take AMSOIL 75W90 and I believe that there are a couple of other fluids that will work for them. I have heard those concerns about the tranny before but I have never heard them about the others. There are a couple of good resources on here about the different topics.

If you had the fluid done in the tranny before by droping the pan, give 'er.
Not a bad Idea to do the front and rear ends either.
I just hate the thought of people going to these quick lube places. I have replaced so many base pans over the years because of these guys. Just the thought of them touching my tranny or anything for that matter makes my skin crawl. But then im a mechanic, and my wife pretty much has to sign a release form to take the TB anywhere.

Either way, change the fluids.

just got front & rear diff and transfer case fluids changed. They indicated tranny needs flushing aswell even though i did it about 15000kms ago as guy dropped pan and replaced filter but did not flush, so i'm gonna giver another 3 months and get tranny flushed.
