My driver seat will not slide forward. It is stuck pushed nearly all the way back. I hear the motor and the seat seems to want to move a little on the left side. I am assuming another coin has fallen into the track. Last time, I was under wareenty and dealer fixed. This time it's my dime so I thought I would see if I can remove myself. Any tips?

Mine stuck fully retacted (where it goes went you turn the key off). I took it to the dealer and the actuater was jammed. He cleaned and lubed it and it has worked fine every since. This probably is not your problem since you hear the motor try to run and one side try to move, but it didn't take the tech more than 20 minutes to pull it apart and put it back together so figured it couldn't be too involved. So, I just walked out and looked at it. There are square plastic covers on each rail, front and rear with small parallel slots on each side of the cover - these are snap down tabs. Put a good sized blade driver under one of the tabs and twist gently. The cover will pop off exposing the lag bolt holding the bottom rail to the frame. Remove all four, tilt the seat back and disconnect the electrical connector plug, and you can set the whole seat out on the bench and work on it.

my 04 does the same thing on occassion,,, i just put a screwdriver in the track and give it a lil nudge to get it unstuck,, works fine after that,, it appears that the stop should be about an 1/8 inch forward,,, thats my fix anyways for my TB
