Just wondering if it's been done yet, anxious to see how it looks. I plan to de-badge mine if or when I get it. Pics would be strongly encouraged here.
I have no 'SS' or 'Trailblazer' badges anywhere on my vehicle....they were gone before I even left the dealership. The rear and sides are completely clean. The only thing left to do as far as I'm concerned is to remove the front bowtie and the faux brake ducts and have them painted body color. Sorry, no pics yet. :worried:

That's my next project after replacing the rocker panels with black ones.

There is no way I would ever debadge the SS emblems... :hail:

It's simple enough to use photoshop to simulate what your vehicle looks like without badges. Post some pics and I'll edit them to show you, takes 5 minutes.
I did this with mine before pulling the chevy emblems to make sure I would be happy with the look before actually doing anything to it.

Looks great without the emblems, nice and clean.
It's still an SS, even if the badges are gone. I'm the only one who needs to know. ;)

I already saw scratches on the rocker panels today, and easily added another one with my fingernail. They used cheap plastic that looks like brushed aluminum, instead of real brushed aluminum.

I only wish I had an SS to keep the SS on the sides. But I guess it would be funny to smoke somebody if they were really that clueless and thought you had a non-SS.

heh i had someone ask me if mine was an ss because it is debadged. but the funnything is it still has the ltz's on. he just saw trailblazer with no sidemoldings or roofrack and thought "ooooh ss". I WISH! it would be nice if mine even looked half as good.

The big gold bow-tie on the lift gate had to go.

i'm thinking about it. either debadging or having the emblems custom painted a darker charcoal color so they don't stand out as much on the black.

wow, it didn't even occur to me to use photoshop... :duh: It's nice to see some real life examples of you guys' trucks though. And it's a definite de-badge for me just from seeing the few examples already posted. Custom-painted would be nice too, like say gun-metal badges. :undecided

:iagree:
I was considering an STi for a while, and if I did get one, would have traded the hood (going FMIC) and deck lid with an Impreza RS. I'm sure I could have made some money on the deal, too, in exchange for the parts. There are lots of poseur/wannabes out there.
Not much you can do about the front bowtie except paint it body color, unless you want to get expensive.

And since we are talking about debadging, anyone know why the GM badge didn't get placed on the TBSS? I though all '06 vehicles were getting the badge.

Some one said "only new models would get the GM logos"

Ah, that would explain it. Wonder why they don't slap the badge on everything. I find it kinda funny the Z06 has the badge and the regular Vettes don't.

All the ones I have seen do.

The 2005 & 2006 models are the only models that have had the bow tie on the back of the Trailblazer.

Ya know, I kind of like the badges, although I did take off the Red GMC. I kept the Chrome Envoy. I though it looked a bit better if I eliminated all the red from the car. I want to stay with only two colors, not 3 or 4. If I could I would actually get the Envoy badges Airbrushed instead of the badge itself. Would anyone else think it would look good?
