on the driver seat , where the power buttons are , that plastic that is there -has any one had the pins break off that hold the platic to the frame. everytime i get off the the car i put my left legt out and the back of my thigh puts preassure on the plastic piece till it broke off last week. the only thing holding together is the 1 screw in the front. all 3 plastic hooks broke off. what is the best clue or epoxy to put it back together.

Wow, you must be one big dude to have that happen! I've had the best luck repairing any plastic that is structural with JB Weld for plastic. When it comes to plastic appendages, like tabs, pins, hooks, etc., I try to reinforce the repair with a sheet metal screw through the work (probably not an option here) or a thin piece of sheet metal glued around the work. You will find there is a fifth mounting point, a plastic tab with a metal clip over it that attaches below the rear upper hook even with the front screw.

Truthfully, I have my doubts that this can be glued back together such that it will hold, especially with your description of how it broke. You may have to just order a replacement panel and work on your dismount so this doesn't happen again. Good Luck!

It doesn't take a big guy to break those. I'm only 170 and I broke mine. It all depends on how you get out of the seat.

I pop rivetted three small 90 degree metal tabs so one edge of the tab slides into the slot where the plastic tab did. You see the heads of the three pop rivets but I figured if I bought a new one, I'd probably end up breaking that one too. So far the pop rivet repair is holding strong. :undecided
