I've gotta 06 w 20k on it. Check engine light came on the other day...checked gas cap...light went off after 2 days...then came one and has been on since. gave a little trouble on start up...turn the key and nothing happens, no crank, no nothing. turn the key again, starts. Now...its sitting in my drive way unable to start....F@#$% furious!!! Any clues? Call dealer on monday.

I have heard the ignition switch's are not that great in our trucks. If still under warranty take it to the stealership..

Take it to a local car parts house, like Kragen, Auto zone. They can hook up their computer and give what the code is. Then check with Chevy for exactly what the vode is for. I had this happen the other day and the code they gave me was correct however what they told me the codes meant was another thing

The code doesn't tell you what Part is bad, it only points you in the direction of the failure...once the code is read, specific diagnostic checks (visual, electrical, mechanical) will need to be performed  In some cases, there may be a bulletin related to the code that points to a common (but not definite) failure. For example...in some cases, when a P0410 (secondary AIR injection system malfunction) sets, the Heated Oxygen Sensor is the failure, not any part of the secondary AIR system :undecided
At 20K, you should still be under the warranty  My suggestion is to bring it to the dealer and let them fix it...let us know what they find :D
My next suggestion is to, when the time comes, invest in an extended warranty b/c parts alone could cost the price of the warranty if there happens to be a failure. I prefer the GMPP warranty b/c it pretty much mirrors your factory bumper to bumper warranty (except water leaks and squeaks)
